Overview
As a therapist who spent much of their early life navigating religious trauma and sexuality (I was raised Mormon and came out as Gay in my late 20s), I bring to my clients a unique perspective on complex life experiences. I guide individuals through religious trauma and high-control environments, helping to untangle guilt and rebuild identity on your own terms. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space for grief, loss, and end-of-life transitions, honoring bereavement without rushing the healing process. My practice offers culturally competent, sex-positive care for LGBTQ+ individuals and families, including affirming therapeutic support throughout social and medical transitions. Finally, I utilize targeted cognitive interventions to lower distress, disrupt harmful thought loops, and build practical coping mechanisms for those navigating anxiety, depression, suicidality, and major life shifts.
