Overview

As a therapist who spent much of their early life navigating religious trauma and sexuality (I was raised Mormon and came out as Gay in my late 20s), I bring to my clients a unique perspective on complex life experiences. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space honoring where clients are without rushing the healing process. I offer clients targeted cognitive interventions to lower distress and skill building; evidence based trauma treatments, including EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT);affirming, competent, sex-positive therapeutic support for LGBTQ+ individuals and familes; and Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidality, trauma/PTSD, navigating LGBTQ+ identities, religious trauma/abuse, grief and loss, HIV/AIDS, and major life transitions.
