Overview

Starting adulthood can feel overwhelming, especially when depression, trauma, or lingering emotional pain makes it hard to move forward. If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of who you’re becoming, you’re not alone. I work with individuals ages 13 and older, but specializing in helping adults between the ages of 18 to 25 years old. Many young adults I work with feel weighed down by sadness or numbness, replay stressful or painful experiences in their minds, struggle with sleep or nightmares, or find themselves avoiding people, places, or situations that remind them of what they’ve been through. You might be having a hard time keeping up with school or work, pulling away from others, or feeling overly critical of yourself and the world around you. Therapy offers a supportive, compassionate space to make sense of what’s happening and to begin building tools that help you feel more grounded and connected.
