Overview
In my practice I work with adults 18 - 70 years old. I treat a variety of psychiatric concerns and diagnoses including, but not limited to bipolar, mood, anxiety, thought, and attention disorders.
I've worked nearly 20 years in psychiatry in many roles and contexts.
I've worked continually in psychiatric inpatient care for the last 17 years, serving as a patient support specialist, a registered nurse, and currently as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Harborview Medical Center's psychiatric emergency department (PES). Occasionally, I also teach graduate level courses in psychopharmacology.
This is the experience I bring into my private practice. In our work together, I listen "care-fully" to your experience to determine an individualized medication management plan based in the latest psychiatric and psychopharmacological research available.
