Michelle has over 15 years of experience in the Mental Health field and another 15 in the Medical Field. She specializes in dealing with End-of-Life experiences such as losing loved ones, the dying process, grieving, chronic pain, and long-term illness. Michelle also has experience working with mental health disorders such as Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Borderline Personality, Suicide, Depression, Anxiety, and Bipolar Disorder. Her preferred therapeutic model is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but she also incorporates other approaches such as Dialectic Behavioral, Reality, Client-Centered, Solution Focused, and Motivational Interviewing.
Michelle believes that caring is the best foundation to build on and counsels from the perspective that people do not care what you have to say until they know how much you care. She strives to help individuals live fulfilling and peace-filled lives.
