Overview
A true child of the 1980’s, I spent much of my childhood and adolescence looking for belonging and connection. The search led me through many states and many jobs, including soft pretzel maker, and shaped me into a clinical social worker with a focus on the importance of wholeness. I have worked for the past 20 years in a variety of roles as a case manager for persons with disabilities, a mental health counselor, and in addiction treatment programs in addition to receiving a Doctorate in social work from Tulane University in 2023.
I believe that our quest for wholeness is not a one sized fits all process. As such, I utilize a wide variety of interventions (EMDR, art, bibliotherapy, sandtray, and more) within a DBT and trauma informed perspective to support you on your quest for growth, self awareness, integration, and wholeness.
