Overview
My ideal client isn’t someone who magically resolves their problems overnight, but rather someone who approaches therapy with clarity, motivation, and a sense of personal responsibility. This is a person with a specific issue, who is willing to take action, even if it requires stepping out of their comfort zone.
My main modalities: CBT, ACT, and DBT while working with clients with complex trauma and PTSD; religious and spiritual trauma, anxiety, OCD, professional burnout, mood or mental health disorders I work with adults, all genders. I’m definitely drawn to the intersectional experiences of the LGBTQ+ community and religious trauma.
I am gentle and supportive, empowering and motivational, and friendly and approachable. I am unique and open to new adventures while I choose to focus on what I can control.
“Everyone tells a story about themselves inside their own head. Always. All the time. That story makes us what we are.” – Shahanshah Hafeez.
I am a master's-level candidate holding a certificate to practice in Oregon as a social work associate. I practice under a board-approved clinical supervisor, pursuant to OAR 877-020-0012, at Mindful Therapy Group, P.C.
